The Italian region of Campania was the beating heart of the Greco-Roman world, and is now home to some of the most important pilgrimage sites in Catholic Europe. This website is a space for sharing fragments of my research into the art, religion and history of Campania - photos, sounds and stories collected at the shrines of Pompeii, Montevergine and other sacred sites across the region.

You can find more details of my academic publications on my Open University webpage.
